Create a Transport Job

A new Job is created through the Job creation form.

The Job is given a reference.

Scheduler

The Scheduler is a way to see the Job in a 'Slot'.

The 'Slot' is can be identified by :

Driver, Vehicle or Location.

Driver application

Assign the Job a driver.

The driver logs in to the application,

and will receive the Job.

Tracking

The Driver updates the Jobs via the Android App.

The App sends Job Stop updates and it's location.

Promote to Invoice

When a Job is Completed it is ready for invoice processing.

"Promote to Invoice" is the option.

Job Workflow Management

Structured workflows ensure nothing falls through the cracks as jobs move from inquiry to completion.

  • Status-driven progression

    Guides jobs through a clear lifecycle: Draft → Requires Checking → Checked → Ready to Schedule → Unscheduled → Scheduled → In Progress → Completed. The system enforces valid status transitions and provides visual indicators so everyone knows exactly where each job stands.

  • Resource assignment

    Links jobs to specific drivers, vehicles, and scheduler time slots. The system tracks which resources are allocated to which jobs, enabling utilization reporting and preventing conflicts.

  • Job slot allocation

    Lets you assign work to drivers and vehicles in seconds. Simply allocate jobs from the sidebar onto your timeline, and the system automatically calculates start and end times based on job duration.

  • Real-time conflict detection

    Prevents costly double-bookings. The system continuously monitors for overlapping assignments and instantly alerts you with visual warnings—yellow borders for partial conflicts, red borders for complete overlaps. You'll know immediately if you're about to book the same driver or vehicle twice.

  • Quick edit capabilities

    Mean you can update job details, reassign resources, or adjust timing without leaving the scheduler view. Right-click any job card to access the quick edit modal, make your changes, and save - all in seconds.

  • Job-to-invoice promotion

    Completes the workflow cycle. When a job reaches the "Ready for Invoice" status, promote it to an invoice with one click. All job details transfer automatically—no re-entering customer information, route details, or pricing.
